CASE Study Challenge # 3

I love this kind of challenge - it is different to sticking to certain colors or a sketch or even an inspiration picture - it is making a study of someone elses card and using your own inspiration to create another.  For those interested, it can be found here.

So today my prize package arrived from Hero Arts and I had ordered the flower stamp which you can see on the cards, it's called 'Garden Star' F5429. That was my only stamp as I needed gems and peals so bad and some note cards as they are so expensive here.
These are my cards from the inspiration source:

DSCI7257-1
I made one in green,

DSCI7269-2
and one in pink.

And here is the inspiration card from Maki Jones.

Thanks for the challenge!
BTW it is still over the 100 degrees here, sticky to create and still no air conditioning. The fan keeps blowing all my bits and pieces away too!

  4. Air conditioning, what is that:))) I forget:) We were roasting here too today....ahhhh the joys of summer in Europe. Do like I do sometimes....go jump in your car,,,turn on the air,,FULLL POWER ,,,and drive around the block several times till you are cool:)...oh yes, the art, the art.
Beautiful creations. I do like this flower you just received too.

  5. What amazingly beautiful cards! Sorry you're so hot! My sister lives in Germany, and they don't have air conditioning there, either! Yesterday, here in Northern California, it was 107 degrees, and it will be hot again today--thankfully, we DO have air conditioning--don't know anyone here who doesn't have it, so we all are very lucky! Drink lots of water!
