Tag - but not Valentines

It just doesn't come naturally to me - Valentine's art... I can't do it. I can't craft with hearts, red, pink and white colors - it just doesn't happen. The theme at Tag Tuesday is Valentines, but try as I might, I am blank! Even though DH will be 50 very soon and I would love to give him a Valentine's tag, I can't.

So I made another type of tag, a birthday tag for somebody....

Not very inspired to try something different, buy stamps, join in challenges - I need to be productive, so I'm working away the scraps again.....
Thanks to Karen of the Graphic's Fairy for the Bird image, which I found here, love birds!

  1. I understand, Jacqueline. It comes and goes, doesn't it, this creative spirit? Some weeks it seems so, so hard to come up with a theme and tag for the TT challenge and some weeks it just pops right out.
Your tag is beautiful -- I love everything you creatie:)

That is why I did an apple tree and you did a HB
    tag...:) Have a wonderful weekend.

You are the best scrap worker that I know. I am amazed at the beautiful works that come out of your scrap basket.

  6. your tag is lovely Jacqueline, lovely colours and the bird image is gorgeous. Valentine doesn't
have to be hearts or red and white, how about a
pair of birds and some pretty pastel colours ?

  7. This tag is marvelous, love the lush layers! I haven't come up with anything for TT yet, either, but I'm thinking, pondering some ideas. My mojo has been very shy lately, only small sparks, no big creative ideas, LOL! Joan may be onto something for you, though.... love birds, a pair of doves, a bird delivering a heart, maybe in Paris...... ;)

  8. It´s a gorgeous tag, Jacqueline - valentines or not. I think it is very difficult to create something if you don´t put your heart in it.

  9. I concur with all of the above, Jacqueline - don't push it. Let the frustration pass and I'm sure you'll be inspired very soon and your creations will be inspiring us as always. Love birds, too, and I think this would make a great Valentine!

  10. This is wonderful. I don't do Valentines, as it is not celebrate here in NZ to the same extent as in USA and other countries... so I hear what you are saying. Making Valentines cards and tags is hard for me.... Just keep doing what feels best for you.
