But, I will never forget the years of Blogging and Card making that I so enjoyed. I have had about four Books made with some of the years I liked the best on my blog. A lovely keepsake.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">I hope you are all well in the present crisis. I have thought of lots of ladies who I had a special connection with like Lin, Franziska and Nancy to name a couple. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">My main occupation as you know is working alongside my husband in our Missionary work but as you also know I LOVE to paper-craft. I have an Etsy Shop which is doing very well and that fills my need to be productive! I need to do something tangible that bears fruit on earth and for heaven!</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">I have come a long way since my card-making days. I have learned so much from ladies who are experts in their field of making Junk Journals, Ephemera and other forms of papercraft. It is so fulfilling still to use up scraps and collage, probably my favorite thing to do.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">On the family side, we now have four granddaughters and three grandsons.. We are blessed indeed.</span><br /><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">I just wanted to share a word that I recently read from Derek Prince which really touched me. The fact that we can be plagued by fear at times and another time we can be at peace.</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">How to Overcome Fear</span></b></div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">When I am afraid,
I will trust in you.
In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I will not be afraid.
Psalm 56:3–4 </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">One thing I especially appreciate in the Bible is its honesty. It faces facts. It pictures life as
it is. It takes account of human weakness. David does not make false claims for himself. He
does not say, “I will never be afraid.” Rather, he acknowledges: “There may come times
when I will be afraid. But when those times come, I will know what to do. I will trust in God
and I will praise His word—His sure, unfailing word. Trusting and praising will overcome my
fear.” </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">In the life of faith, there is often a conflict between two areas of our being: our spirit and
our emotions. In our emotions, we go through all the reactions of fear, perhaps even of panic.
In vain we struggle against it. It grips us.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">But there is another area of our being—the spirit—
that will not yield to panic, that does not accept the dictates of emotions. The spirit within us
says, “I will not accept the verdict of my emotions about this situation. I will turn to God. I
will remember what His Word says. I will find the promise of God that meets my need. In my
emotions I may feel fear, but in my innermost being I trust, and that trust imparts to me a
security and confidence that are much deeper than my emotions.”</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">In such a situation our personality may be compared to a river on a windy day. Our
emotions are like the waves on the surface—troubled and tossed. But in the innermost depths
of our being, the life of our spirit flows on in untroubled peace.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Faith’s Response
Lord, I thank You for the peace deep inside me that is not affected by the winds on life’s
surface.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>

I have gone right off of card-making and onto Junk Journals, Ephemera, Tag-making... yes even Tim Holtz has found a place in my heart.. lol.<br />
Of course, I make lots of stuff for my shop and for the time being, it gives me such pleasure that it's probably what I will keep on doing for the time being.<br />
<br />
I hope you are all well. Our fifth grandchild will be arriving in April and it will be the first boy! Looking forward to that. Nothing else has changed really, still as it was last year.<br />
<br />
I will share some things I make at the moment:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLCyqvE1Cv9b8DdWLTmwYl-UHV2hkNip2suOmur7D0QORKsZapqKBKmUf_6o3YX2hEL1Oug52XawTFkxohPaHA3OAbYfz7JLV9eYQKr6nzE1iWsyNv-M329logqu4mY-sQ65i6kPUErLB1/s1600/cc1c877b22b3415eb0fea029eff26ce4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="722" data-original-width="564" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLCyqvE1Cv9b8DdWLTmwYl-UHV2hkNip2suOmur7D0QORKsZapqKBKmUf_6o3YX2hEL1Oug52XawTFkxohPaHA3OAbYfz7JLV9eYQKr6nzE1iWsyNv-M329logqu4mY-sQ65i6kPUErLB1/s1600/cc1c877b22b3415eb0fea029eff26ce4.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
This is one of my Ephemera Packs (it has sold) which I make a lot of.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCtg-zU6FvLSPfvgjcMQen9MljrWaEk7p6qx5F3pyhntIpZ97FXNMlHNsWnuchFEWpuvIYd1rKzA-c5rXJ9xO1bo74DbZTUCZhfQY7sxXaUiCAqxcqYeA6VnWxxV6BuQVmQ-OqbHiGvUEc/s1600/cf0f991fcce6a85e1068c98eed4c47ec.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="823" data-original-width="564" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCtg-zU6FvLSPfvgjcMQen9MljrWaEk7p6qx5F3pyhntIpZ97FXNMlHNsWnuchFEWpuvIYd1rKzA-c5rXJ9xO1bo74DbZTUCZhfQY7sxXaUiCAqxcqYeA6VnWxxV6BuQVmQ-OqbHiGvUEc/s1600/cf0f991fcce6a85e1068c98eed4c47ec.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I also love collaging and here are two envelopes which have been collaged and stitched for added texture.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0AJfsfoFl1izbpO63WZb9PCc3cqzTLYOsSz4mXK3MyoWY5uq2KZ09ymMnLQmIE-uQc7oYxyat9my2_aZw7ZKSRofo1siMA17w_JrXMUQRGsooRLZZoOR9jDrG8lHA3cIu-5e7Oe99Yf8U/s1600/b65f20c8fbb71f9f6bc5efe1e496c406.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="752" data-original-width="564" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0AJfsfoFl1izbpO63WZb9PCc3cqzTLYOsSz4mXK3MyoWY5uq2KZ09ymMnLQmIE-uQc7oYxyat9my2_aZw7ZKSRofo1siMA17w_JrXMUQRGsooRLZZoOR9jDrG8lHA3cIu-5e7Oe99Yf8U/s1600/b65f20c8fbb71f9f6bc5efe1e496c406.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
and this one.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3yRcfokyoMKUTJR7jEqu2TSAlSZSYBOV7zyvExcKIR4CXYHyadOc16Yy6nHsv-SHzhKwh0P3xSIozbqCKoxDS7Z299YWepoALpjIvF4gnt7LI_dMu7nNdybKGH2vmLxTsm4346-IgkHJN/s1600/1f7753b35efdbffccb64b30f6d681eb1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="720" data-original-width="564" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3yRcfokyoMKUTJR7jEqu2TSAlSZSYBOV7zyvExcKIR4CXYHyadOc16Yy6nHsv-SHzhKwh0P3xSIozbqCKoxDS7Z299YWepoALpjIvF4gnt7LI_dMu7nNdybKGH2vmLxTsm4346-IgkHJN/s1600/1f7753b35efdbffccb64b30f6d681eb1.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I make paper brooches, I prefer to call them that to the original name of Clusters. They are scraps which have been stapled together to create a nice little embellishment. I use them on packages.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRMNeaFnJlk0CIwNMQj2C_veVyNV5ksph5sGJm4n-FcTQ9GF7_-RN-VYOfBMlI8xN_z1xep3RrNlS8y9OTpQ9A9yqPfuQ-AyoOC2r38b7gu4b-rAA0OTUpEyv-l8x0j2c1VppAunoCNbwl/s1600/8924968df690f8118856ac3cf03ecb8c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="416" data-original-width="563" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRMNeaFnJlk0CIwNMQj2C_veVyNV5ksph5sGJm4n-FcTQ9GF7_-RN-VYOfBMlI8xN_z1xep3RrNlS8y9OTpQ9A9yqPfuQ-AyoOC2r38b7gu4b-rAA0OTUpEyv-l8x0j2c1VppAunoCNbwl/s1600/8924968df690f8118856ac3cf03ecb8c.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
These are Tag Holders or Library Card Holders which I have made from Patterned Paper.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwoDNgjCV7lB_Wsi4MISjglPc97M6RF7b6P4550upumyFDKBxDjE6BjfddM2iEKMn8YgAPDgGfjdSJNj5ccTiAcvyipZ56Jh-9kELkSmxgUqAIG45gt0YE7acUyNeWeE4TXcl-2Bp6S-5q/s1600/92a183ade35248b845135b1c1b15e4b7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="672" data-original-width="564" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwoDNgjCV7lB_Wsi4MISjglPc97M6RF7b6P4550upumyFDKBxDjE6BjfddM2iEKMn8YgAPDgGfjdSJNj5ccTiAcvyipZ56Jh-9kELkSmxgUqAIG45gt0YE7acUyNeWeE4TXcl-2Bp6S-5q/s1600/92a183ade35248b845135b1c1b15e4b7.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
And lastly, I regularly make die-cut Pockets and fill them with Ephemera. I LOVE Birds, can you tell?<br />
<br />
So these were some of the things I regularly make and thought I would share.<br />
Just a little shout out to Sandy Millar who sent me a convo today and mentioned my Blog.<br />
<br />
Please take a look at my Etsy Shop, just click on the Avatar in the top left-hand corner. Thanks!<br />
<br />
Blessings to you all!<br />

I found a Beautiful Old Book from the 70's which has been totally devoured by my crafting endeavors. If I can recycle something, then the satisfaction is great.<br />
<br />
This Book is a gem!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0ZJnnP5H6PBOdfH77fEbPXaLjolCtKhCQ8zKbmf2LksHfWal-D_1ZdS2J-zqQ1Ea9Cw1uG6rsRLMZgyzTH6CkIt8kI8Gqtn0LQaXriGyVrOwsS8ggPTy80VoYBJuhMK0Iv-dWkAdEJjWZ/s1600/terry.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="440" data-original-width="570" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0ZJnnP5H6PBOdfH77fEbPXaLjolCtKhCQ8zKbmf2LksHfWal-D_1ZdS2J-zqQ1Ea9Cw1uG6rsRLMZgyzTH6CkIt8kI8Gqtn0LQaXriGyVrOwsS8ggPTy80VoYBJuhMK0Iv-dWkAdEJjWZ/s1600/terry.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
and these are the tags I made with some pages.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieLpaXaXvxJUqRkwH2Q7thNvcei-qKZeRq68W4ivjy5aLrQFG4-3OnyPbPp344laHjFPgHbrrsJSkcgC-IHIjd8K7kZ_AF3czCvzPNAooEQ8DjOEmhvWQfFux0YG1ajSB1m3z32NJBW9HD/s1600/il_570xN.1727586419_3sk8.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="937" data-original-width="570" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieLpaXaXvxJUqRkwH2Q7thNvcei-qKZeRq68W4ivjy5aLrQFG4-3OnyPbPp344laHjFPgHbrrsJSkcgC-IHIjd8K7kZ_AF3czCvzPNAooEQ8DjOEmhvWQfFux0YG1ajSB1m3z32NJBW9HD/s1600/il_570xN.1727586419_3sk8.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
These can be used for so many projects! I have sheets of vellum sentiments in gold and black which I used and stitched to the Tag.<br />
They are for sale in my shop together with some faux postage stamps which I stamped and cut out from this beautiful Book:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
and they look like this:<br />

With old music sheet paper, I collaged these tags, which have a faux postage stamp and fussy-cut flowers, also from an old book.<br />

<br />
I will add the link to my shop <u>here</u>. I have many more projects to share another time.<br />
<br />
Apparently, millions of Books get thrown away every month!! Can you imagine, all the new papers we buy while brilliant Books are getting trashed. That is such a shame!<br />
<br />
Hope to have inspired somebody today.<br />

I know, it's been a long time, and I hope you are all well. I have been so busy with my Etsy shop that it has taken up a lot of my time and I am enjoying it so much!<br />
<br />
I wanted to share my Pocket Folders with you. I have made so many, and in so many different formats that it will be hard to choose just one.<br />
<br />
I found a template in this <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/IzzyBeeCraftCreation">Etsy Shop</a> which I have used to make them. You can either print directly to your patterned paper or make your own covers.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/629523582/digital-templates-b6-tag-page-pocket?ref=shop_home_active_4&bes=1">This</a> is the one I have been using.<br />

<br />
I chose the cover from a Book called 'Island: the diary of a Year on Easedale', which I also sell in my shop but it has sold out for the time being. Beautiful Book with gorgeous pictures of Nature on a Scottish Island. I just cut out the cover from the Book and adhered it to the front of the template.<br />
<br />

<br />
This is the inside cover with the two pockets which are part of the template pack. I cut out the printed template and covered with other pictures from the same Book. I love to fill the pockets with Ephemera which I make myself from all sorts of different sources, like pp, old botanical books, etc.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSXrOGOmOGAsEep1mYJsxUYJoPpEzMKeoG_0662L_RuBLG8M3prb_WrZ_zufJ0V3TlbAbYkxdUK2rSx_VkplUh4nQfJNyVWnnASbPinDHLv6URGF-K080hhdCESm5MSUn9GkSRrebyh2_P/s1600/pockerfolder3.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="807" data-original-width="570" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSXrOGOmOGAsEep1mYJsxUYJoPpEzMKeoG_0662L_RuBLG8M3prb_WrZ_zufJ0V3TlbAbYkxdUK2rSx_VkplUh4nQfJNyVWnnASbPinDHLv6URGF-K080hhdCESm5MSUn9GkSRrebyh2_P/s640/pockerfolder3.jpg" width="452" /></a></div>
<br />
This is the back which is also a picture from the same book. When the two covers have been made I attach the spine, of which there are three to choose from. I prefer this lovely music note one, which I don't have to cover. Of course, the pockets are made after the covers have to been fixed together.<br />
<br />
So this is just one I am sharing with you, which has sold in the meantime.<br />
<br />
Please take a look in my shop, Souvenir de la France. You can find it <span style="color: #4c1130;"><u><a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/SouvenirdelaFrance?ref=l2-shopheader-name">here</a></u></span>.<br />

It's sweltering hot here, way over 30°C every day and very energy-sapping.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB3OROq69Eu4VxWouVqbZZ_w3b2vJganQNJGXkiXtVdTiBWKowBlu9wY_7tjQNvvYpN7J5Z4aU79KtFsWKWaPAxxuixl_vC6WsT9cjMpRC_KtFfuMuVjpZgva5lKoypdPtLo-QBg-FDfWY/s1600/IMG_1506-009.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="398" data-original-width="650" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgB3OROq69Eu4VxWouVqbZZ_w3b2vJganQNJGXkiXtVdTiBWKowBlu9wY_7tjQNvvYpN7J5Z4aU79KtFsWKWaPAxxuixl_vC6WsT9cjMpRC_KtFfuMuVjpZgva5lKoypdPtLo-QBg-FDfWY/s1600/IMG_1506-009.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
I made another four 'Tag Frames', I will call them that, as they have a recycled element of a window envelope, used as a frame for a nice picture and then sewn to a piece of patterned paper and then adhered to the Tag card base, finished off with a piece of string or bakers twine. A die cut leaf and a prima flower have been stitched together with the frame.<br />

<br />
I thought these would be a nice replacement for a gift card or as a gift tag on a package for someone special or a special occasion!<br />
<br />
I have these for sale in my <span style="color: #134f5c;"><u><a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/SouvenirdelaFrance">Etsy shop 'Souvenir de la France</a></u></span>'. They measure 5 1/4" by 3 1/2" and come in two vellum pockets (two tags in each) and four envelopes. I enclose a little tea-bag with Provence lavender from the garden.<br />
<br />
That's all for today! Wishing you all well this Summer!<br />
<br />
Oh yes, a little photo of my two daughters-in-law, my son and grand-daughter yesterday, having fun in the pool.<br />

<br />
I did manage to make some cards for my Etsy shop, helped by a fan on my desk.<br />
My shop is called Souvenir de la France btw.<br />
<br />
I discovered some beautiful bird-prints a while ago which really lend themselves to the vintage collage style and I had some lovely patterned papers to combine them in the mix and match fashion.<br />

I am selling off some stamps, which are still in very good condition, as I am developing my style and want to use more diecuts and patterned paper in my creations.<br />

<br />
At the same time I'm sharing one of my latest cards using a diecut and patterned paper.<br />
<br />
I have been so busy and not able to create as I would like too, but hope to share more soon.<br />
Thanks!<br />

I found a die cut which I LOVE and is of course another way of using up the papers! It's just another way of making puzzles, mixing and matching with patterns and colors.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDMtpumj5vR5pCJVcGThxBRMsnQO_zttvy4zphZBbkT070iLkiHMg-5amVXPPy4eeAkgFSl7CSGjpqWyXl5ioINhr3vlcZ8Ehnira7ShcSc-FYpjalldUHK_ZBuiWJ8-Yqz_iDDhO6Hpqo/s1600/DSCI1785-001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="351" data-original-width="543" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDMtpumj5vR5pCJVcGThxBRMsnQO_zttvy4zphZBbkT070iLkiHMg-5amVXPPy4eeAkgFSl7CSGjpqWyXl5ioINhr3vlcZ8Ehnira7ShcSc-FYpjalldUHK_ZBuiWJ8-Yqz_iDDhO6Hpqo/s1600/DSCI1785-001.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
My card size here is 4.5x4.5". I diecut once on kraft paper for the frame and then I diecut some left-over papers. I placed the frame on dimensional tape and filled in the gaps.<br />
I can see this becoming a lovely pastime in the future.<br />

Via pinterest I was inspired to use up the window envelopes which drop in the letterbox from time to time. I found some pictures from magazines I liked and glued the vellum window which had been cut out leaving at least a centimetre margin, to the picture. I then cut out the picture with the frame and sewed it onto a large tag which I then decorated with a diecut leaf and other embellishments.<br />
<br />
It gives such satisfaction to recycle in a creative way!<br />

I have discovered how easy and lovely it is to sew on paper. Never really gave it much attention before, but for me it adds something. Typical really, because it's only because I got an extra chair so that I could sit behind the sewing machine that it happened..!<br />
<br />

I have made so many that I have chosen a couple for the blog. Now I have discovered the Cuttlebug, stamping has taken a back place. I find it much easier to use and play with paper now and I'm enjoying that. <br />

The first of May is celebrated by people giving little pots of Lillies of the Valley, called Muguets in France.<br />

This 'bug' has gotten me in its grips because it has opened up new doors for recycling and enjoying the process!<br />

First of all, my sewing work-place. Hubby had his eye on the panoramic view when he had this conservatory built, unfortunately, the humidity is no good for paper so I had to relocate, but I can sew here as my love for paper-sewing has grown too. This Cherry tree survived a recent hail storm and gives such pleasure to have such a view! Btw, I made the fabric lamp too.</div>

As you know I just love recycling. Today I'll share some tags that were inspired by a Pinterest post. Before the paper bin gets emptied I salvage every piece of patterned paper that the punch, either round or square will fit into to squeeze out the remaining precious paper. I used sewing to attach the pieces which gives added texture. I love sewing on paper, so much better than on fabric.<br />

Thank you to all who left me feedback on my last post! I just hope to inspire people as I get inspired by you all!<br />
I have been into creativity a lot lately, but not only cards. I haven't posted any of the things I have been making with paper, only now and again on Pinterest, so I'm going to share in the form of <span style="color: #3d85c6;">sending somebody some 'happy mail'</span>. You know we all like to see an envelope in the mailbox that's different, that's addressed to us and it just kind of makes a day extra special! I am not saying that it will blow you away, I just want to do a little share.<br />
<br />
So, if you are interested, just leave a comment and I will send some 'snail mail' to the person chosen.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I am in the process of making a series of cards with these bird-prints. I love these prints so much! Right up my street and they mix and match with nearly every form of patterned paper. (Hint: One of these botanical bird prints will be in the snail mail). The Bible verses on the cards are in French, from Isaiah 41:10, one of the verses that have spoken to me in my situations that have been difficult in life. God is faithful.<br />

<br />
<br />
This is the second one.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjERn_0-Zjjf6oEd5bGT81BVnbKDZh3LRexmwux1UZyVkF9e4o0M98F6GUZywvjUZgsXPjF4L0ilxWuuaQUg2sw6TFCf9Fj-VBDj6ihveOBISwdyZgEtZVFzihgGksd6O9w3fFfIYZSkobs/s1600/Pictures9-002.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="434" data-original-width="600" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjERn_0-Zjjf6oEd5bGT81BVnbKDZh3LRexmwux1UZyVkF9e4o0M98F6GUZywvjUZgsXPjF4L0ilxWuuaQUg2sw6TFCf9Fj-VBDj6ihveOBISwdyZgEtZVFzihgGksd6O9w3fFfIYZSkobs/s1600/Pictures9-002.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In the times I change up the creativity pattern, I am crocheting. Here are 'some' of the things I have made, including the headband which my grand-daughter is wearing.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have also nearly finished two big double-bed blankets and just yesterday gave a baby-blanket away as a present for a new-born but forgot to take a photo. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My fourth grandchild will arrive in October and another baby blanket will be added to my work-load! But I'm not complaining, I love it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have a blessed day!!</div>

As inspiration struck I'm posting some tag-cards. Usually I am active in three languages and it helps sometimes to not use a sentiment. I have a small drawer with patterned papers which I insist will all be used and I've found that die-cuts help me utilise them.<br />
<br />
Diecuts used are a dimensional Rose, Leaves and Tags; also to use-up papers, some baker's twine and three crystals for embellisment.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
On this card I have placed the tag upside down and embossed the rose for texture, even if it was with a snowflake embossing folder.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
There are numerous other combinations I could use. Sometimes all one needs is a design to build on and then the fun begins.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaA13RlnLILKZIxoy4WQv_J_aZmERZW4VHCrCvXzd9_y79ndiTPqSVUOkUoJC0d0Zg5ICDG46qRvd-C0QnC5ry7pMs7yIW0aQTroBfOV3I1-7OmS0IlXGB65LISS7CpVFLnV1F6sdfB0DW/s1600/DSCI1471-001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="439" data-original-width="334" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaA13RlnLILKZIxoy4WQv_J_aZmERZW4VHCrCvXzd9_y79ndiTPqSVUOkUoJC0d0Zg5ICDG46qRvd-C0QnC5ry7pMs7yIW0aQTroBfOV3I1-7OmS0IlXGB65LISS7CpVFLnV1F6sdfB0DW/s1600/DSCI1471-001.JPG" /></a></div>
Just adding another one as these were as scraps lying on the table and I was able to puzzle them together to make another card. That is what I like about crafting!<br />

I have been away on holiday in Guadeloupe. My husband has always wanted to travel to the Caribbean and having saved up thousands of airmiles he got one ticket free. The weather was beautiful, not too hot and certainly not cold and we travelled around both of the small islands which are joined together, making them the 'Haute Terre (High ground) and Terre Basse (low ground). The sea is such a gorgeous torquoise color!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
We took this one from the shade of a huge coconut tree. After being stung by a jellyfish I was very careful when swimming in the sea.<br />
<br />
This is my little card share for today, using an oval and leaf die-cuts.<br />

</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I wanted to share this grid-card today which I posted over on my other blog as it uses one of my new die-cuts which I really love</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's time to use up the scraps again. This time I pulled out the tiny square
punch-outs and the bigger square punch outs to pull this together in a
die-cut grid.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Before I empty the paper
bin I see if there is anything my punches can salvage. Then I put them
into a tiny plastic chest of drawers to use at a later time, like today.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

Hello lovely ladies. I can't get enough of the diecut deer, such an elegant image but I will settle down with the dies eventually!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Merry Monday calls for pastel colors. I usually craft with earthy colors as I'm attracted to them but as I had a pastel deer, I thought I would use it.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_XkaJfs-dLw7pFDtN9fcEjZp4xQ8eKHFjPcBh1E28_UkZcxqfKj7zbFPtAmrMfh5nx5xZBcZrqVBwCbfpgHUgAyWPJgoT255YU7S9AkIlnEJrgUAw89FO-eMWCBgrciYhJvhh9LYmsgTr/s1600/DSCI1170-002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="377" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_XkaJfs-dLw7pFDtN9fcEjZp4xQ8eKHFjPcBh1E28_UkZcxqfKj7zbFPtAmrMfh5nx5xZBcZrqVBwCbfpgHUgAyWPJgoT255YU7S9AkIlnEJrgUAw89FO-eMWCBgrciYhJvhh9LYmsgTr/s1600/DSCI1170-002.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is the inspiration picture at <a href="http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.fr/2018/01/mm-275-pastel-colors.html"><u>Merry Monday</u></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_It3-pX543W5g3QL8fWW5iIqPSx9p_NiauXEviiJyjjeCDTUaldsQM0JNEy58WglKhgjiiE9WFZceZT9MLhDuVU5jQRuIu8uDhQRFDmaQvnykb7eJLgOpA4Ts4Xn_Gu82vRc7z92Eyd-1/s1600/mm.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="261" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_It3-pX543W5g3QL8fWW5iIqPSx9p_NiauXEviiJyjjeCDTUaldsQM0JNEy58WglKhgjiiE9WFZceZT9MLhDuVU5jQRuIu8uDhQRFDmaQvnykb7eJLgOpA4Ts4Xn_Gu82vRc7z92Eyd-1/s320/mm.png" width="208" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also made a quick little tag:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6c5bzWuBRAt0ziS9oOO0aMq70YV8HBbGvcWCsJyFkKOrLOetJd2M6ncn1GxE2w5NOAxOMk7hS3dxayU8-KIUmRH-fbvVpOWvHfD0e4uCRWmVU_NQV7jqTgwCgZLQ6Rz5fxz0ZXdfpnutC/s1600/DSCI1167-002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="396" data-original-width="294" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6c5bzWuBRAt0ziS9oOO0aMq70YV8HBbGvcWCsJyFkKOrLOetJd2M6ncn1GxE2w5NOAxOMk7hS3dxayU8-KIUmRH-fbvVpOWvHfD0e4uCRWmVU_NQV7jqTgwCgZLQ6Rz5fxz0ZXdfpnutC/s1600/DSCI1167-002.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have a couple of other Christmas cards to share, one including the Village Stamp from Hero Arts.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe1dMmDE4mETcyApeqR0LVMs6rDbC_3eN127P7WxdF7pEwiPV97Td37zL-IsuxNNibBT8s9RkP983E34OLsb5mLIcT6KnmwTu_ea76KyJQhcQ4n1WkN7LxSbJCfYW-9ZjBkfza2mDRUlxy/s1600/DSCI1141-002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="450" data-original-width="384" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe1dMmDE4mETcyApeqR0LVMs6rDbC_3eN127P7WxdF7pEwiPV97Td37zL-IsuxNNibBT8s9RkP983E34OLsb5mLIcT6KnmwTu_ea76KyJQhcQ4n1WkN7LxSbJCfYW-9ZjBkfza2mDRUlxy/s1600/DSCI1141-002.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And another which is a deer again, but I puzzled it back into another piece of paper.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPFswswvQuCZnNx4o5pkBt0UD4tYAhLpCRdepy66njqVn2Q8wEHQ4UvvRtzeQmNW1iJppMn6LO1yusbsi42vGckA7xROhnesN0eo_osPxgxoKi90oiXqQOpF7L5Uzptm2nE9qSu2Y-STug/s1600/DSCI1064-001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="428" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPFswswvQuCZnNx4o5pkBt0UD4tYAhLpCRdepy66njqVn2Q8wEHQ4UvvRtzeQmNW1iJppMn6LO1yusbsi42vGckA7xROhnesN0eo_osPxgxoKi90oiXqQOpF7L5Uzptm2nE9qSu2Y-STug/s1600/DSCI1064-001.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's all for today. Have a lovely week!</div>

As I'm loving making Christmas cards, <a href="http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.fr/">this challenge blog </a>is wonderful for inspiration.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The theme this week is 'Let it Snow' and here is an inspiration picture:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjczPBkX6xjFvqdr_o9NNUnY4C0UFrgKe9V2zG7RYXv-qojLB7QAzq61XiuhZmVssR4M2DE1BixCm8zXY5RLLBuTPAnlAErkzquIuviybpbpf8eUfDLEWHjPnTqHk4BwqkyZbcUxHwSfrFK/s1600/snow.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="261" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjczPBkX6xjFvqdr_o9NNUnY4C0UFrgKe9V2zG7RYXv-qojLB7QAzq61XiuhZmVssR4M2DE1BixCm8zXY5RLLBuTPAnlAErkzquIuviybpbpf8eUfDLEWHjPnTqHk4BwqkyZbcUxHwSfrFK/s1600/snow.png" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Snow gives such a glow to Christmas cards and I wish we got it more often, here in France.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My first project is a tag: I used a page from an old magazine to cut the deer and I emboss old envelopes in advance so when I need some
snow I have it all ready. Then I tear it into shape for the snow effect and that is how I love creating! So simple. I added a touch of glitter to the antlers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-I8Yl_WZw47-8gkndau_WBGRinGro5qdHb7KifppzvgZ2AKtPMu9tAfiz4aGP4sPYnxEzrfSkxugzP50ptMU-ajDWN_ONiHcn0Hv6GMqmn9ab3c7ZScc16xZgfFTfn8tqPEfhQ4Ek3XdM/s1600/DSCI1047-002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="391" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-I8Yl_WZw47-8gkndau_WBGRinGro5qdHb7KifppzvgZ2AKtPMu9tAfiz4aGP4sPYnxEzrfSkxugzP50ptMU-ajDWN_ONiHcn0Hv6GMqmn9ab3c7ZScc16xZgfFTfn8tqPEfhQ4Ek3XdM/s1600/DSCI1047-002.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My second card uses the Postcard Stamp
from Hero Arts.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhONnUvouEYyoyXG9_YUOOlk5KHrt287fo9YfBQCaTg8nm1NSeC6zKezkPjlL0cB7dEUwQcFTjznFRCsw8KqxaybuuIBIkRXzehzWJophfb1GC60h9mZK-bRjjyyRDPsMZ4yU2k6EtJ4ImS/s1600/DSCI0923-004.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="478" data-original-width="330" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhONnUvouEYyoyXG9_YUOOlk5KHrt287fo9YfBQCaTg8nm1NSeC6zKezkPjlL0cB7dEUwQcFTjznFRCsw8KqxaybuuIBIkRXzehzWJophfb1GC60h9mZK-bRjjyyRDPsMZ4yU2k6EtJ4ImS/s1600/DSCI0923-004.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used my new deer die-cut which I'm so happy with, so elegant with the big antlers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for the challenge!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

First time playing with<a href="http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.fr/2018/01/merry-monday-273-red-and-turquoise.html"> this challenge</a> and it was Betty K who inspired me.<br />
Just realised that this would work with the <a href="http://twofercardchallenge.blogspot.fr/2018/01/twofer-card-challenge-1.html">TWOFER CHALLENGE</a> too!<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am finally in the possession of a Cuttlebug... after all these years and I really love it. I got this bird die cut (see below) which I love and looked everywhere for something torquoise until I found a Christmas paper pad which also had red, so that's what I went for.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIA7y_DOS1memc6MY3zekH4q5M1CZ3mGtfXSLD2bgCK_Z7IO72ib4QnfIZQhz2AI8ZJSeYRdN5-dQASdG2behN2HJyX9iURfCU6afI8llORN6LfyPcGa-UnUkLhyc4mcZDxaVJkZcTlBWH/s1600/DSCI1009-001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="399" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIA7y_DOS1memc6MY3zekH4q5M1CZ3mGtfXSLD2bgCK_Z7IO72ib4QnfIZQhz2AI8ZJSeYRdN5-dQASdG2behN2HJyX9iURfCU6afI8llORN6LfyPcGa-UnUkLhyc4mcZDxaVJkZcTlBWH/s1600/DSCI1009-001.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love this kind of CAS style, so enjoyable to make. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And this is my second card.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw6SiqdgmMPzDPsUHxfRswLs-uv4JtRiJt5Qh-a5X7SBAtUQuNJiel5y5jQFPWQepClnJPk2PSh31MudK_1ubGxNGskcu6DaeLPO9Ygvg4O4ZM0ar9Ymy1aSK29RqBUQCKykm_hr3cCBzg/s1600/DSCI0988-007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="450" data-original-width="337" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw6SiqdgmMPzDPsUHxfRswLs-uv4JtRiJt5Qh-a5X7SBAtUQuNJiel5y5jQFPWQepClnJPk2PSh31MudK_1ubGxNGskcu6DaeLPO9Ygvg4O4ZM0ar9Ymy1aSK29RqBUQCKykm_hr3cCBzg/s1600/DSCI0988-007.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Having die-cuts to work with opens a whole new dimension to card-making!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia_io01SIE1AohPxlTpR0zAk-Re8P_hi2tdTzYgZMYpDMd8a13DQ3C7i-5gi7CycxsYxOI92M7E6hgVhcriHSSYBSFwkYD_yFE0BoKmWzCrZeX2AsGjdYo9mMHIj7O39X8iFsqg5zrQ2Bd/s1600/Pictures1-002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="362" data-original-width="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEia_io01SIE1AohPxlTpR0zAk-Re8P_hi2tdTzYgZMYpDMd8a13DQ3C7i-5gi7CycxsYxOI92M7E6hgVhcriHSSYBSFwkYD_yFE0BoKmWzCrZeX2AsGjdYo9mMHIj7O39X8iFsqg5zrQ2Bd/s1600/Pictures1-002.JPG" /></a></div>

The French stamp Company 'Florilèges designs' has taken the place of Hero Arts for me (don't tell them) as I just love the designs they make and they are not ultra expensive.<br />

<br />
This is my Sunday afternoon card, I just love the design of the tree. And the whole set was a little more than three dollars.<br />
I just want to thank all the lovely ladies who left feedback on my last post - it was so encouraging: THANK YOU!<br />
Have a great week!<br />

I have been into creativity but not into cards. Crochet and cookery seem to have taken their place. I have also been tired, too tired to really come up with yet another idea. The thought of searching for the right stamp, the right paper, the right embellishments and then having to make it all come together was too much.<br />
But I never lost the spark thanks to Pinterest. I love Pinterest! The Christmas cards this year I have seen have been inspiring, hence the desire to make a few. And why shouldn't I share them? Perhaps because I feel just a bit guilty that I haven't been leaving comments on your blogs. I have been looking and loving though!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjZ37TKhMwStRkzXByep0Dg4eibNVILxF_MLzyJml3hMiUKuAw4RWEbAv44xNby5tF-Abh5wxgYZR8Or2q3MRH9gHE3RMEJPod0Fd0yngFwavHKxHtVGrpE5HOx_w4wlVOOK8ClBxjp-JZ/s1600/IMG_1525-003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="550" data-original-width="377" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjZ37TKhMwStRkzXByep0Dg4eibNVILxF_MLzyJml3hMiUKuAw4RWEbAv44xNby5tF-Abh5wxgYZR8Or2q3MRH9gHE3RMEJPod0Fd0yngFwavHKxHtVGrpE5HOx_w4wlVOOK8ClBxjp-JZ/s1600/IMG_1525-003.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
Hero Arts stamps are still my favorite and go-too everytime.<br />
<br />

and finally, I found some Christmas tags in an old magazine and turned them into a card centre piece:<br />

For a while now I had been missing eggs in the nest and I just thought one of the three wasn't laying because of the heat. When I returned home from work I saw a chicken walk into the raspberry bush behind the Chicken Coop and I thought she was just escaping the extreme warm weather until I looked what she was doing and this is what I saw:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3jfbzNkjEz7uwcjLe0ZCB4ONPduS-csS13E3Lu5dbYEhC_QbopKGHFmIGjmbeMzSBISvA2y1T4HwU4Ygz5zsPrdHPYwz1M13AyqHLTfSbNGraKz0h7eEeQQBdlgNwBr48KhaSS7CP6tZr/s1600/17eggs-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="450" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3jfbzNkjEz7uwcjLe0ZCB4ONPduS-csS13E3Lu5dbYEhC_QbopKGHFmIGjmbeMzSBISvA2y1T4HwU4Ygz5zsPrdHPYwz1M13AyqHLTfSbNGraKz0h7eEeQQBdlgNwBr48KhaSS7CP6tZr/s1600/17eggs-001.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
There were 17 eggs in the nest! Because this one was full, I discovered another nest a little bit further on that had another two eggs in it. They were all eatable because if an egg sinks in water and lays on it's side, it's o.k. to eat. If an egg stands upright in water it is o.k. but a bit old. If an egg floats it is stale and cannot be eaten. Another trick is to hold three eggs in your hand, one on top of the other, if the middle one rotates, it's fresh!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTAE0RXTFfpdiqQCwKjqwL9ThxnaOLbyQJBJc2T6fUzdIWXRnk7p3IG8wTR8zQunTQhxkFBLur7T4zvPclYiHIcrrMVdscWpPreqvXkPESvOqFjLTnRBVgF0NEhdnuwhuIREPPfvpmWeDo/s1600/IMG_1420-003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="334" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTAE0RXTFfpdiqQCwKjqwL9ThxnaOLbyQJBJc2T6fUzdIWXRnk7p3IG8wTR8zQunTQhxkFBLur7T4zvPclYiHIcrrMVdscWpPreqvXkPESvOqFjLTnRBVgF0NEhdnuwhuIREPPfvpmWeDo/s1600/IMG_1420-003.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
Just a day earlier I had another surprise, my hybiscus was flowering with seven beautiful flowers! I felt so blessed.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXVOVKPyVtJcT5i1-UAXA2MKE8bS8FwgaEs0fQ2b3EPKvaPRIXmJo0uye18byOL68XFE87DWJ8iieIUDBg_Iq24wG_r35NhATvx1QQR7GDPdJqi863JRfWxrs5PCyQR5QhDvpHWefyvSK_/s1600/IMG_1353-003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="535" data-original-width="411" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXVOVKPyVtJcT5i1-UAXA2MKE8bS8FwgaEs0fQ2b3EPKvaPRIXmJo0uye18byOL68XFE87DWJ8iieIUDBg_Iq24wG_r35NhATvx1QQR7GDPdJqi863JRfWxrs5PCyQR5QhDvpHWefyvSK_/s1600/IMG_1353-003.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
OK onto a card, this Penny Black Blossom stamp was stamped and embossed in gold on vellum, cut out and adhered to a corner of a card. Sentiment is Hero Arts.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCsUHfh_g2MxPjmC5VnWevuCs3xEWK3nG8TTc_lMPWujEocB3y0lgpW1ZBR-2js8yLEjwWvaTYGST21YV38P1y1gq8vyGRMgr3WnCp2RYri084K1SwgYCEScGA50HsMvAcvpJmE7RRSiMh/s1600/Scan-012.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="563" data-original-width="600" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCsUHfh_g2MxPjmC5VnWevuCs3xEWK3nG8TTc_lMPWujEocB3y0lgpW1ZBR-2js8yLEjwWvaTYGST21YV38P1y1gq8vyGRMgr3WnCp2RYri084K1SwgYCEScGA50HsMvAcvpJmE7RRSiMh/s1600/Scan-012.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
This card was posted on my Grid-card blog but I thought it would be nice to share here as well. It was a lot of work and took two days to finish. I used a Hero Arts scrapbook stamp, featured below:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwBHBorqJaXhrlkKCOig_Hwhc_vLBwHWeBXJ-7q5yBCK2ivEkcdvWQHfxBwVDQ6vUMtBNfXDzCPk-g2ulAu9gv1pdKTjDcTVHYLQ7JxQ6gvawhMSrB77rUz_VS93Bjcnc0KKUEqiAw_u2e/s1600/1_a4b1fb9b-b8c1-48f6-bbd8-118bce841cd6_large.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwBHBorqJaXhrlkKCOig_Hwhc_vLBwHWeBXJ-7q5yBCK2ivEkcdvWQHfxBwVDQ6vUMtBNfXDzCPk-g2ulAu9gv1pdKTjDcTVHYLQ7JxQ6gvawhMSrB77rUz_VS93Bjcnc0KKUEqiAw_u2e/s1600/1_a4b1fb9b-b8c1-48f6-bbd8-118bce841cd6_large.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
And to finish a collage of some family photos having fun in this beautiful summer.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFtT9pgA2zWjiNMi4fEXmQdpP_MiwsVXJWTiieKYRFyJUKufoisxNz_XSiesH-Vf2LbEqYRiozoEmDvmGmWj_ZrGHR9KXXIdJ6OG4qBeD5PL6etfBUpYmCgPrC_bWAevHMQITU2DXTUHSz/s1600/Pictures5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="450" data-original-width="650" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFtT9pgA2zWjiNMi4fEXmQdpP_MiwsVXJWTiieKYRFyJUKufoisxNz_XSiesH-Vf2LbEqYRiozoEmDvmGmWj_ZrGHR9KXXIdJ6OG4qBeD5PL6etfBUpYmCgPrC_bWAevHMQITU2DXTUHSz/s1600/Pictures5.jpg" /></a></div>
Signing off for now - enjoy your day and the rest of the summer!<br />

I have a Pinterest Board called 'White Space' - I am drawn to cards that have lots of white space and yet I don't hardly do it myself.<br />
So now I did... the flower stamp is Hero Arts. I just stamped a black square over the top.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8bqHbRkG301PjXKL8VVhSqouflJ2ohgPnm_b5dnQRUDhjFXw6Bxl7nCLOOMrrvT48zI2gtZcIbNUkltCYj9BVFYkCtbjLKxFnE8cUnBruzzJb5TW7xYkeaktJLZIf9fL5K0IXvbryvvfD/s1600/IMG_1241-003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="450" data-original-width="346" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8bqHbRkG301PjXKL8VVhSqouflJ2ohgPnm_b5dnQRUDhjFXw6Bxl7nCLOOMrrvT48zI2gtZcIbNUkltCYj9BVFYkCtbjLKxFnE8cUnBruzzJb5TW7xYkeaktJLZIf9fL5K0IXvbryvvfD/s1600/IMG_1241-003.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
the next one was inspired by a pin on my white space Board. <br />

Last weekend we were in a beautiful resort in Roses, Spain for our 30th Wedding anniversary. I am so thankful to God for a wonderful husband, who loves and cares for me. I hope he can say the same for me :).<br />

I have decided to send Connie Crafter and Nellie some wine labels as I know they haven't had the chance to use these wine labels before. My e-mail is cartes34@hotmail.com. Please send me your address - thanks.<br />

Just sharing a card I made a while ago with Penny Black Butterfly stamp, stamped and embossed on vellum and colored with alcohol inks.<br />

I only try to invest in stamps that will bring lots of inspiration and are practical to make cards.<br />

First one was inspired by Virginia, from her blog 'Yes, Virginia'. You can find her blogpost <a href="http://virginialusblog.blogspot.fr/2017/04/mothers-day-card-and-stamp-those.html"><u><span style="color: #990000;">here</span></u></a>. I will use these stamps for envelopes <i>and </i>cards. The set is from Simon Say's Stamp and is called 'Sending Flowers'. I bet you will love Virginia's envelopes. Funnily enough, I haven't seen them anyway else on the blogs.<br />

<br />
This second card was made with the set from SSS called Spring Flowers. Sally Sherfield uses this set in such a beautiful way on her cards. Take a look<a href="http://cinnamonsally-designedbysally.blogspot.fr/"><u><span style="color: #660000;"> here</span></u></a> on her blog.<br />
<br />
As you can see, I have used a wine label on both cards, because that was my idea before the stamps arrived and I stuck to it.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #cc0000;">Speaking of wine labels... I still have loads and would like to give away a little package to somebody who would love to craft with them, including some of the labels I have used today. I will let random org. pick somebody from the comment section. </span> <br />
<br />
Thanks to all who visit and leave such lovely comments, so appreciate it!<br />
