Gothic arch challenge - Pink
As I love pink and had some scraps in the Scrapbasket I thought I would join in after a long absence this week. I love finding a home for images and paper that have not found their rightful place yet.
This second card I just had to share with you - it's from Sylvie and I was very excited to receive a piece of her beautiful work. Seen IRL shows so much more! Thank you Sylvie for thinking of me!
It is time for the 'Vendanges' here in France. That is the word given to the grape harvest. This picture shows how far the grapes are, having just had some rain to fatten them out a bit! Just a week ago a downpour of hail stones arrived in certain villages around ours. We were not hit but several cars in those villages were seriously dented. Hail in September is a wine farmers nightmare as it can destroy his whole crop.
WOW this piece is just gorgeous! The shade of pink and the images are just perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh yummy wine!
Your arch is so pretty! All the layers makes it so soft and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking this pink arch challenge was just up your alley. Its gorgeous...love that stampy you've used.
ReplyDeleteLove the arch! I loved the patterened paper and how it all worked together... Then I realized you created the patterned paper! Wow! great combination of stamps!
ReplyDeletelovely arch, (and it's pink!). The grapes look wonderful, perhaps some day I can taste the vintage? I'll bring the antipasta!
ReplyDeleteYour arch is lovely! I truly enjoy seeing the photographs from your area. I would love to be surrounded by such beauty!
ReplyDeleteLove your arch card....beautiful! So are the grapes....wow! Totally uneducated question here, but can you eat them fresh or are they used mostly for wines?!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful arch, such lovely shades of pink and delightful image!
