Grumble, grumble... NO paper...
Louise certainly raised the bar but I don't think I could as I just love my paper!! So I
had to use something else and I found some canvas which I printed an image on. With the same canvas I cut out a tag and sponged over a Tim Holtz mask which Louise had sent to me, with distress ink. I sewed the image on and I also sewed the little pom-pom lace on but it went all crooked - so this is an imperfect tag, but I don't have the time now to make another one!
Thanks Louise!
Jacqueline, I think your tag is beautifully done and I never would have noticed the poms if you hadn't mentioned it. As TH says "embrace imperfection".
ReplyDeleteI tried to leave a comment earlier, but my wireless connection won't even let me post to my own blog half the time! Your tag is totally precious, Jacqueline! It is unique and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust perfect looking to me. I didn't notice anything crooked to me. This is such a great tag.
ReplyDeleteI see nothing imperfect here! But imperfection adds character I think. Love the look of the canvas...way to stretch your imagination!
ReplyDeleteCanvas ! now why didn't I think of that!! Great tag Jacqueline.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm still waiting for your address. wink!
I am struggling with my tag, so I thought I would pop over here and see what genius idea you had! Beautiful! I don't have any canvas but inspired anyways!
ReplyDeleteYour tag is absolutely lovely! Great idea to use canvas and those pom-poms look great to me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea with the canvas. It obviously takes ink well because that mask just pops off the page.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the pom-poms, that's the beauty of distressing things, it hides so many imperfections I think.
A gorgeous tag, glad you were not intimidated by the non-paper thing:)
