Tag Tuesday - #33 dots and stripes

Hi there! I am so excited! A lady came round to pick me up to show me a beautiful shop she had found in a little village about ten minutes by car from where I live. It's true that I don't venture out enough on my own - what a beautiful place!

All the hand-made Christmas decorations were still on the doors and walls and I didn't have my camera with me!! What kind of a shop you may well be thinking... well they don't sell stamps or paper but they do sell this kind of thing, see the photo above - isn't it beautiful? They sell hand crafted items of a vintage style, just my cup of tea! I hope to go back this week to take some photographs.

I feel like making heart tags now after seeing the beautiful things in the shop!

  1. It is wonderful that you have a shop so close to you where you can find inspiration. The vintage look of the heart tag is so you! Have fun exploring and be sure to post some photos when you take them.
How delightful is your tag...the piano keys as stripes is so clever and I love the pretty spring colors.
    Have a blessed day!

  2. LOL! I thought you had made the heart as a tag. It is so beautiful and lovely just like what you create! So glad you were able to do some fun shopping! The tag is wonderful and I was so wondering how you were going to work polka dots and stripes into your usual elegance and beauty. :) Now I see you are so clever and it works beautifully!

  7. Jacqueline, I bet if you gave the shopowner your blog address, she'd be buying from you to sell in her store!

  10. Jacqueline, what a beautiful tag you've produced! I love the piano keys as stripes. And the heart shaped tag you picked up at the shop is gorgeous. What a neat place that sounds like!

BTW, my gd who home-stayed in Montpellier last summer has found a way to take enough French this new semester that she will be able to have a double major - chemistry and French. I know she'd love to go to the south of France again some day. She was really "taken" with the area.
