The first card is using a wine label and an assortment of stamps. The image is from patterned paper.
For the second card I used a tag which was a free gift in a Magazine. Just gave it a bow and a diecut background and it made for a very quick card.
Now for a little cooking tip. Do you have a Muffin tin? Well, until Saturday I never ever owned one! I found one at our local store, one with six rather large cups in it. Saturday night I arranged a cozy dinner for two with DH and wanted to do something special and original. So I made some mini Asparagus tarts in the Muffin Tin. So easy! Used puff pastry which I cut out into four circles and into four of the cups. I mixed four eggs, a little bit of cream, Roquefort cheese (3rd of a pack), salt, pepper and a jar of asparagus which I just cut into small pieces. Mixed it all together, and divided the mixture on top of the pasty into the four cups - made a little lid from the pastry that was over for all four and they cooked in about 15 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees. They were delicious with a salad and ready in no time. It just made it a little bit special to eat real home-made food. (Forgot to take a photo..)

Tag and gift bag idea
Temperatures are soaring here, too hot and too tired to sit down long enough to create. The last treatment has not given any nausea, thank goodness, but has slowed me down and taken a lot of energy.. but I know that in time I will regain what I have lost, it is only temporary.
Just shaing a little tag I made a while ago with the lovely lace that Sue sent me and a diecut from Hellemor. Haven't used a vintage image in ages.
Just a little share of a little gift I made for a lady who always helps me out with the cooking the day of my treatment. I have put the lavender sachet I stamped into a vellum bag (thanks Jean) and closed it off with a flower from Hero Arts called Garden Star.
My son David went to his holiday camp for three weeks yesterday, missing him already. He was healthy and in good spirits, bless him.
Happy sunday to you all.

Make-It + Mail-It Challenge # 1
I am joining in this challenge of Lisa's. I have been able to donate most of my cards for good causes, keeping some I can't part with, mailing others to my dear friends from the blog and flickr and also family and friends who surround me. I usually have a basket with cards and tags which are on hand. I, too, don't see the point of keeping them, although I have a HUGE box of cards and tags, ATC's etc. I have received. Love looking through those.
So, these two tags will be going to somebody who I haven't even chosen yet - but will reveal soon!
Edit: Tuesday 26/04 - these have been mailed today to Jean.
Good idea Lisa!

Just a normal tag
NOT a tag with a surprise element (as was the theme on tag Tuesday this week) .... just won't come - but I wanted to make a tag, so a tag that I won't enter in this week's challenge it will be. Not that I haven't been thinking about it for a whole week.
I couldn't put wings on it. I thought of putting something underneath the post mark and turn it with a brad... but what????
Then I thought, I'm not going to post this because it's too empty, but adding something to it just didn't seem right.
Should I add something to the back of it - like a secret little envelope? I tried, but it was too small..... no luck this time - it has beaten me!
The frame is a Penny Black stamp.

Little collage tag
This is not for Tag Tuesday - I need to think about that one, but this is a tag that just came together with a diecut that Hellemor sent me. Thanks Hellemor, I love that pp!
I reduced the size of the digital collage stamp I put together with Hero Arts and Artistic Outpost stamps and adhered to a smaller diecut.
See you later in the week!

A Christmas tag
I think this is my favorite pastime at the moment, making Christmas tags... just as well as I have quite a list of people to send too...
I love this color combo. This is an image from the Christmas Stamp plate (Artistic Outpost) that dear Sue sent to me - I love this image too.
Wishing you all a peaceful weekend. We are having exceptionally mild and sunny weather at the moment, I have been sitting out enjoying the sunshine!

Playing with scraps
I just pulled these out of my scrap basket to make a tag.
I love it when I can just play with loose ends and make them into something, gives satisfaction. That is so enjoyable!

Tags from the scrapbasket
Once again it was time to have a little tidy up to find a home for all the projects gone wrong, backgrounds made but not used, stamped images for projects that didn't work out, etc. etc. all brought together in a couple of tags, which I just love making in the grid fashion.

I would like to thank Stacey and Lyn for the awards which I have placed in the side bar so that I can enjoy them for a little while.

Grid cards
Thank you so much for all the lovely comments on my grid cards! If you decide to make one please send me a link, I would love to see your recycled cards!
Could not resist trying a vintage one... as I got a 'coup d'inspiration'! I have lots of loose papers in my craft basket with stamp images that didn't get a place on a project for one reason or another - so glad I don't throw anything away, and I just stamped on part of the image and pulled them together in a grid. I just love doing this!
Another project is:
A set of Christmas tags, reserved for special parcels.
