Christmas... again... Reindeer.... again

Hello lovely ladies. I can't get enough of the diecut deer, such an elegant image but I will settle down with the dies eventually!
Merry Monday calls for pastel colors. I usually craft with earthy colors as I'm attracted to them but as I had a pastel deer, I thought I would use it.

Here is the inspiration picture at Merry Monday

I also made a quick little tag:

I have a couple of other Christmas cards to share, one including the Village Stamp from Hero Arts.

And another which is a deer again, but I puzzled it back into another piece of paper.

That's all for today. Have a lovely week!

Merry Monday - Let it Snow

As I'm loving making Christmas cards, this challenge blog is wonderful for inspiration.

The theme this week is 'Let it Snow' and here is an inspiration picture:

Snow gives such a glow to Christmas cards and I wish we got it more often, here in France.

My first project is a tag: I used a page from an old magazine to cut the deer and I emboss old envelopes in advance so when I need some snow I have it all ready. Then I tear it into shape for the snow effect and that is how I love creating! So simple. I added a touch of glitter to the antlers.

My second card uses the Postcard Stamp from Hero Arts.

I used my new deer die-cut which I'm so happy with, so elegant with the big antlers.

Thanks for the challenge!

Merry Monday Challenge - Red and turquoise / Twofer Challenge #1 Feathers

First time playing with this challenge and it was Betty K who inspired me.
Just realised that this would work with the TWOFER CHALLENGE too!

I am finally in the possession of a Cuttlebug... after all these years and I really love it. I got this bird die cut (see below) which I love and looked everywhere for something torquoise until I found a Christmas paper pad which also had red, so that's what I went for.

I love this kind of CAS style, so enjoyable to make.
And this is my second card.

Having die-cuts to work with opens a whole new dimension to card-making!

Have a great weekend,
Jacqueline

Balade.. en plein Nature

Or... taking a walk in Nature, as the French title translates.
The French stamp Company 'Florilèges designs' has taken the place of Hero Arts for me (don't tell them) as I just love the designs they make and they are not ultra expensive.

This is my Sunday afternoon card, I just love the design of the tree. And the whole set was a little more than three dollars.
I just want to thank all the lovely ladies who left feedback on my last post - it was so encouraging: THANK YOU!
Have a great week!
