I'm struggling with the tag Tuesday theme, so I'm going to let it go for a while. My sister and her friend are arriving tomorrow from the U.K. to pay me a visit until Sunday. Both of them love crafting with paper and stamps, so I'm looking forward to breaking out of my routine and having some company!
I don't know about those of you who have these papers, but I'm having some problems in getting inspired to know what to do with these gorgeous papers! I thought it would be easy, but it's not. Anyway, having had them for a week, finally something is getting done with them.
I used the bird stamp from Artistic Outpost, a leaf stamp from Hero Arts and a crown stamp from.... Sue.
This second card uses paper from the Mariposa stack but I felt it needed some distressing, so it's not it's natural color. The butterfly is a digi Hero Arts stamp and the background stamping is a collage stamp, also from Hero Arts.
I might persuade my visitor's to join in the tag Tuesday challenge tomorrow, we'll see.
Wow, the purple shade on your first card is so lovely!! And your collage card is so beautiful with its vibrant mix of colors!! Have a great time with your sister and her friend, happy crafting to you all!

ReplyDeleteI think both cards are just beautiful, Once again I just love your work! I can't wait to see what you come up with for Tag Tuesday! I'm sure it will be fab!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the cutsie thing is throwing you a bit.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, your cards are gorgeous, particularly the second one.
(I think the problem you might be having with these papers is that you usually create these types of background yourself. And there's really not much more you can add to them.)
Beautiful cards, love the colors on your butterfly!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous gorgeous cards as always, Jacqueline! I think you did an awesome job with the paper, very inspiring!
