The Mariposa paper stack

I'm struggling with the tag Tuesday theme, so I'm going to let it go for a while. My sister and her friend are arriving tomorrow from the U.K. to pay me a visit until Sunday. Both of them love crafting with paper and stamps, so I'm looking forward to breaking out of my routine and having some company!

I don't know about those of you who have these papers, but I'm having some problems in getting inspired to know what to do with these gorgeous papers! I thought it would be easy, but it's not. Anyway, having had them for a week, finally something is getting done with them.
I used the bird stamp from Artistic Outpost, a leaf stamp from Hero Arts and a crown stamp from.... Sue.

This second card uses paper from the Mariposa stack but I felt it needed some distressing, so it's not it's natural color. The butterfly is a digi Hero Arts stamp and the background stamping is a collage stamp, also from Hero Arts.

I might persuade my visitor's to join in the tag Tuesday challenge tomorrow, we'll see.

  9. I can imagine the cutsie thing is throwing you a bit.
On the other hand, your cards are gorgeous, particularly the second one.
(I think the problem you might be having with these papers is that you usually create these types of background yourself. And there's really not much more you can add to them.)
