It is raining here very heavily and has turned quite cold. We really needed this rain so it is very welcome.
I have had no radio therapy these last two days because the machine has broken down, so I start again on Monday. Inspiration seems to be missing too - which is probably just a fact of life at the moment. I still do enjoy looking at the blogs and marveling at the wonderful creative people in blogland and on card galleries!
I did make this card for a friend who I recently met online - she doesn't make cards but she is going through the same as me, only worse because a tumor she had was not discovered until much later, which makes the going really tough for her. The verse is in Dutch, as she is a Dutch lady. Translated it is a cry from the Psalmist to keep believing in seeing good times in the Land of the Living!
Another simple glue page, not too much glue on this page though! It's just therapy at the moment, happily stamping and seeing what comes out of it!
Have a very good weekend!
Hello Jacqueline,
ReplyDeleteYou have been on my mind and in my prayers once i read about your radio therapy.
I hold you up in prayer for strength and peace of spirit. Art is wonderful therapy for your spirit and you create such beautiful cards.

I like James 1 for inspiration.

Prachige kaart en een moedgevende tekst! De psalmen sluiten zo mooi aan bij zoveel verschillende situaties! Je tweede creatie is ook schitterend! Mooi dat meesje erbij.

These designs are so divine! Rich with color and beautiful images, your collages always makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteCatching up with you, Jacqueline, these pieces are wonderful! I love the soft reds and greens, it's beginning to be that wonderful time of year, autumn through Christmas-time. Keep on stamping - it definitely can be wonderful therapy to lose one's thoughts in the creative process.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely ... and so thoughtful of you ... I love your page too ... my prayers are with you
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, Jacqueline. I have no idea what a glue book might be. I'll have to search Mr. Google to see if he knows. Like many others, I have you on my internet friends' prayer list.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work but then I do have a weakness for birds x
