  1. Looks like you were really enjoying yourself here, playing with your stamps Jacqueline! And isn't that what crafting is all about? Creating something whenever you feel the urge or desire to? If you have to rest, then you must, it's only normal after all the treatments you'had... Hope you're doing fine and that 2012 will bring you lots of happiness, good health and love. Ira

  5. Happy New Year to you all Jacqueline. Glad you are taking care of yourself and resting as you should. Your card is so pretty, it really does look like what I remember from my brief trip through the French countryside. Love the soft browns and your embossed doves. May God continue to bless you in the coming year.

  6. Hello Jacqueline, what a great idea to use this stamp! It did not inspire me but now it does! Most of the time I read your posts but don't have the time to react always. But now just wanted to wish you a better year, indeed take time to rest and heal, guarding your boundaries is always important!(hope that's the proper translation)I am a 'road' companion for as far as the illness so I know and understand you.
Warm greetz and keep creating your beautiful things in life, Miranda

  7. Jacqueline, you are very wise to take some rest for yourself - I'd say that it is more like a whole year before you are back to your old self. You are so very lucky to live where you do, surrounded by all that beauty, and I love that you share it with us! Keep doing that please - sending big hugs and wishes for a great 2012!

  9. That stamp DOES remind me of some of the pictures you have shared from your vacation time. Lovely card and like what you did with that stamp.
Just reading the phrase "five me" makes me extremely tired...can't imagine how you've managed to keep up with them all!

  10. I love your Palette you have used for this card Jacqueline, one does not see much Brown as the main Hue, it is usually as an accent.
The card elicits a positive response to the viewer, as your various tones of this Colour are invariable connected to the earth and are seen as protective and secure.
A symbolic card is many ways, as Brown is the ultimate earth colour, associated with Home, substance and stability.
As you move towards a new era, all these illustrative meanings come into play; you are healing and it is showing through your creativity.
What ever it is you are doing it is working, so I suggest you continue with your way of life as it is now, you will know when it is time to move up a level.
Six months maybe a little optimistic and I think you should accept 12 months as a more realistic time frame, I don't want to be a pessimist here but you should be aware it may take longer.
Happy New Year to you too.
    Smiles:)

    Fijne week verder!
    groetjes,
    Wilmi

  13. A beautiful card.....brings memories of summers past !
Being optimistic is healing in itself
so if you are positive with your outlook, then you will heal quickly !
I dont believe in being pessimistic
as I think it slows down progress !!
Look forward dear friend and God bless....
    love and hugs
