My tags for this weeks challenge over at Hero Arts.
Shari Carroll is hosting this challenge and I must admit out of all the proposed complementary colour combos, 'green/red' seemed to me to be the most attractive. But I went with black/white and lavender/yellow.
This is a grid card I made from two projects that went wrong. The stamp is from Hero arts and was stamped once in white and in bronze on glossy card stock with an alcohol ink basis. I didn't like them as they were so just punched out squares and circles.
This is the stamp I used for the gone wrong projects.
Those gold beads on your butterfuly are wonderful. I really, really like the idea of
ReplyDeletepunching out the squares from projects gone wrong. Perfect use for those scraps. Your gird card is positively gorgeous!
Loved all three of these cards and the third one inspired one of my own! Your purple and yellow tag is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteall of your projects are beautiful...but that last card is simply awesome....especially since it is the result of projects gone wrong! I love your new creation! :)
ReplyDeleteThey all are beautiful! I Love how you used the pieces from your"project gone wrong" This is most definetly a Project Gone Right!! Stunning!
ReplyDeleteLove them all, especially your last project! It turned out great, I would never have thought of using a project gone wrong this way!

Love the tags! The purple and yellow turned out beautiful! You know I love the pink one as it inspired me to make my own version with a little bit of gold from your other pink and gold card!
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, I just love the third card. It's just lovely. Always love visiting you!
ReplyDeleteWow. This is absolutely stunning! such gorgeous colours.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautifully designed! Gorgeous! We are doing a tag challenge over at Gingersnap Creations if you want to join in!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tags and I love the card you created with your "gone wrong" projects, I think we all have a few of those :)
ReplyDeleteI love them all as always, Jacqueline!! They are super gorgeous. The last card is totally gorgeous, I don't see any thing wrong with it!
ReplyDeleteWat een schitterend idee om iets te verwerken.
ReplyDeletePrachtige kaart, Jacqueline
these are all so beautiful! I love the details you always incorporate into your work! I hope it has gotten cooler for you...we had temps in the 90's last week and today is suppose to be 61 degrees - my kind of weather! :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Jacqueline! I really like both of the tags you made for the Hero Arts complimentary color challenge! The purple and yellow one has such a watercolory feel. Very soft and fluid. And the black and white one has a more graphic, bold feel.
ReplyDeleteI also really like the card that you made that is in a grid! What a happy accident... to not like the way the stamping turned out originally and to turn it into such a beautiful, stunning grid card! Fabulous! :-)
