A couple of Spring cards

Just playing with some scraps and images. I was very inspired by this card, which gave me a new insight how to use the bird image - otherwise I probably would not have downloaded it. So thanks to The Gypsy Magpie!

Used a freebie from The Graphics Fairy for this card. The bird can be found here. The grass stamp and sentiment is Hero Arts. I used some textured cardstock which I don't usually use but I got given some boxes full of old cards from a shop that was closing down and this textured cardstock was in the box. Won't have to go looking for that for many years to come!

For this card I used a digital butterfly from Hero Arts. I was just experimenting with white ink on dark cardstock and the bird happened to be stamped on there. So I just put it all together for a collage-type card.

  7. Really amazing how you've been using the grass stamp Jacqueline, very different looks each time, I'd like to try using only a portion of the stamp!
