You are who you are!

Hi! I haven't felt that I had anything to share the last couple of weeks - what I had made was all a repetition of what I had already made before and I felt if I didn't have anything new to offer, any new insight to share, then I would just let it go.

But don't we all feel like that in certain periods of our lives? A bit empty, frustrated and the rest? So I am going to continue sharing, even though it might seem a bit dry because we have to be who we ARE, not who we would want to be.

So, yes, another grid, just because it seems to be the puzzles I make when I'm thinking about life and pondering on the Lord and what He has on His Heart for us all!

I want to share a little something someone sent me today which was found  on the Internet and it so encouraged me!! Her name is Holly Gerth and I think she says it just how I would have loved too have said it! If you see your life like this today - let these words encourage you too!

The world only gets one you.

You with your gifts.

You with your smile.

You with those things you do.

So take your place,

take your chances,

take this moment to know...

You’ve got something to offer.

Something good and right and true.

Something God-given,

Heart-of-Heaven created.

And the rest of us need it, need you.

Oh, you think it’s no big deal.

Anyone could be that way.

Anyone could do it.

Nope.

Not true.

There’s just one irreplaceable you.

Have a lovely, sunny weekend!
Jacqueline x

  8. I love your grids--they are never "old" and are deceptively difficult. I was inspired by one of your grids a few months ago (with gold and white embossing) and didn't have much luck creating one of my own. One of these days I'll create one that's worth sharing...until then, keep inspiring us.

  9. You know Jacqueline that you couldn't have said it better than that. Yes, you are who you are and that's what makes you unique. You do grids so well, the combination of papers and stamps is just perfect. Love the piece you found on the internet, I think we've all been there once or twice... Hope you have a lovely weekend, hugs, Ira

  14. Sometimes it is a few words like what you have found and shared with us all today Jacqueline, that can make us realise that we are not alone in our insecurities, all of us it appears identifies in some way with the Poem and all of us will think about the words, and it will lift our spirits as we realise that we all appreciate the friendships that we have through this forum. We may never meet face to face but that is not important, what is important is that we share our thoughts and we know someone out there will understand where we are at. Keep sharing my friend we are all listening. Don't ever think that your cards are stale or old, your work is meant to be seen, so show to your hearts content for we will enjoy!
    Smiles:)

  18. Lovely card and poem, Jacqueline! I
never tire of seeing your grid cards.
I think what is important is that you
    are creating and getting satisfaction
from the process. Your creations are
beautiful and creating is such a lift
to you. Having a blog can put pressure on people to feel they must
have something new to show or say but
your own process is what is truly
    important.

  20. I love the poem shared today and it's so true. We can't be like someone else, but we can be ourself to the fullest and we all have something to give (our gift from God) that we need to share with others. Your cards are always so beautiful and I appreciate that you share them with us even when you're feeling less than perfect!

  28. Jacqueline, thank you for being transparent and sharing your days with us...this one especially is for me too. I've been feeling that way for a while but, like you, I just keep plugging along. We know, God has not left us, nor has HIS PLAN for us disappeared. It's a time to keep pressing in and pressing on..."if you believe, you WILL see the glory of God!" (Francis Chan from Crazy Love).
