Hello!

Hello everyone! I am trying hard to find my way back into my world here, after being away for three weeks. The first two were in Huntly, Scotland where I had such a good time I didn't want to go back to France. I do not have the energy with the heat here (no air-conditioning) to go into details, but maybe over the course of time I will be able to share little bits. One thing I can tell you is that there was a huge Creativity Room in the Mansion we stayed in, which I visited often and even got two other ladies interested in Rubber stamping. There were three boxes full of Rubber stamps and some inks to use. On our last day we got a phone call from our son that our cat of 12 years had died of kidney failure. It was very sad.

On getting home, I had David for a week and this weekend we have had two English couples who direct offices of Derek Prince Ministries in England and China, for a board meeting, so I have been so busy. Creativity has taken a back place for the moment. I also have trouble with my eyes which I need to get sorted out.

It seems I have entered a new season with God, now the boys are leaving home, and I have to process it, which takes time.

I was so happy to win some Blog candy on Virginia's blog, while I was away. I am looking forward to receiving it as it just might revive the spark I need to get into crafting again.

Whatever, I will see how it goes, thanks for listening and your understanding. Thanks to Betty K who sent me an e-mail. I have missed the crafting community.
God bless,
Jacqueline

  2. You have certainly been missed, Jacqueline! I am so jealous that you could spend 2 whole weeks in Scotland! I hope that after you are back to normal at home, with guests gone, that you'll share some more of that time.

  4. I kept coming to your blog, and right now, I can see that you are safe and sound and you did wonderful time on your trip. Waiting for your next creations, Jacqueline. In the next two years, my first daughter will leave me, too, for college. The place is not in the same cities. I wonder how you could feel that your boys are leaving.. Hugs..

  5. I have missed your creations. I quite understand about Scotland .... I was there a year ago. Such amazing light. I only had about 10 days there, but could have stayed for a month. I'm on the verge of the same stage of kids leaving and can already feel the unsettlement as I wonder what will be next. Take it easy on yourself as you go through this new stage - God will take you step by step.

  8. Welcome back, Jacqueline! Your beautiful posts have been missed. So sorry to hear about your cat. The last two cats I had died within two weeks of each other; it was very upsetting.

Please have your eyes checked soon; nothing to mess around with!!

    lieve groet,
    Wilmi

Praying for your vision and understanding as you transition into a lifestyle with your boys gone - I can remember when our girls "grew up and out". Look forward to a new season of your life - we never truly let go, it just becomes better as we love them on a different level. Can't wait to see some of your inspiring work :) Blessings to you!

  15. Good to hear you made it back and are well. So neat you were able to have a bit of creativity time while away. So sorry to hear of the passing of your cat, I know how hard that is after having them so many years. I went thru a rough time when our daughter left, it sure is a big difference when they go away, but My husband and I have grown closer and are getting use to it just being the two of us again after so many years, all the best to you!

  20. I apologize for this late post, but I was thinking of you, and missed seeing your beautiful cards in the gallery!

I'm so sorry about your kitty! I know how difficult it is to lose a beloved pet, so I am sending you hugs!

I hope you have been able to sort some things out...especially your eye sight problem. Hopefully, you are already on the mend with this! I'm sure it's hard to see your boys moving on, but they are not lost forever. I pray that God will give you the strength and courage to get through this difficult time...sending you my very best wishes,

  21. Welcome back Jacqueline. I't always hard to get started again after a long time away, but it will all return, when the time is right. It sounds like you have a lot to deal with right now, and you should give yourself the time you need to soak in all the changes in your life.
Just know that your crafty buddies are always a click away.
I'm thinking of you and sending you hugs Jacqueline!
And some blog candy can only help, right?!
