I am joining in the challenge on the Paper Players blog today, with the theme of leaves. These stamps are from the Stampin' Up set called An Open Heart. I created a distress background with Fall colors before I stamped and attached the little bird which is cut out, onto the branch.
I have been in Orlando for ten days and will share in a future post.
JUST AN EDIT: I reply to comments or questions etc. in the reply section under your comment in this post - so please take a look!
Have a lovely Sunday.
Beautiful! I hope you enjoyed your visit!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the colors! So happy to see you are back in your studio and sharing with us here! Can't wait to see your pictures. Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteHi Virginia, lovely to hear from you... you might be surprised that I don't have any photos to show, Disney world was not our destination - no it is something more important than that - I will keep you guessing :)
DeleteBeautiful autumn card, dear Jacqueline! What a pretty set of stamps. I always admire your choices.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done, Jacqueline - so glad to see you creating again! Looking forward to hearing about your FL vacation!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Jacqueline.
ReplyDeletewonderful card Jacqueline - gorgeous fall colors. good to see you back.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Jacqueline! I absolutely love the colours in the background and it's just perfection with the added birdie. Did you use watercolour paper?
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda - love your new photo! I never use watercolor paper, just can't seem to get the results I want. This is just plain ivory tinted paper, which works just as well wtih distress inks.
DeleteWat maak jij toch prachtige kaarten en daar hoort deze dan ook weer bij.
ReplyDeleteAltijd zo'n prachtige kombinatie van stempels kleuren en andere materialen.
Komplimenten voor jou.
Groetjes Gery

Gorgeous Jacqueline.
ReplyDeleteglad to see you back Jacqueline; lovely card. You were only about 2 hours drive away from me when you visited Florida. Someday I would like to meet you in person. Hope you had a nice trip.
ReplyDeleteHi Paula! I haven't travelled for a long time! It took six planes in total to make this business trip with hubby. The only thing we saw of Disney (which was not our destination!) was hot air ballons. Only two hours - wow! This might have been the last time Florida as a destination will be chosen, but you never know... Lovely to hear from you!
ReplyDeleteI love the distressed ink background you created for your card - it works so well with your leaves and fussy cutting the bird really makes him stand out. Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteOrlando Wow!! Look forward to seeing your photos! Your card is stunning ... simply stunning!
