Merry Monday Challenge - Red and turquoise / Twofer Challenge #1 Feathers

First time playing with this challenge and it was Betty K who inspired me.
Just realised that this would work with the TWOFER CHALLENGE too!

I am finally in the possession of a Cuttlebug... after all these years and I really love it. I got this bird die cut (see below) which I love and looked everywhere for something torquoise until I found a Christmas paper pad which also had red, so that's what I went for.

I love this kind of CAS style, so enjoyable to make.
And this is my second card.

Having die-cuts to work with opens a whole new dimension to card-making!

Have a great weekend,
Jacqueline

  16. You said it, Jacqueline! The fun you are going to have has just risen like a rocket! I remember holding off to get one for a long time, too, and now I don't think a day goes by that I am not either die-cutting or embossing! Enjoy! Your patterned birds are such a clever idea and I love how you have showcased them with your design!! Thank you so much for coming to play in my first Twofer Card Challenge!! Hugs, Darnell

  17. I absolutely adore using diecuts! You're going to really enjoy using your Cuttlebug! Your birds are amazing, and each card is delightful. The papers, the little branch, but especially those birds are all wonderful. Who makes them? - - I think they're the sweetest things! And thanks for joining us at the Twofer Challenge. Bev
