Mosaïc

The weather is so nice today I could have crafted outdoors. Just looking at the thermometer in the sun it was 28 °C. which is 82.4F.

I did a little crafting today using up some scraps from my scrap basket, this is nice and quick to do with a square punch.

This little card is for the Saterday workout challenge which was mosaïc - I would never have thought of placing an image over the grid, but got some inspiration from the entries. So thanks for the inspiration!

Yesterday I was with DH on invitation at a small church to the west, direction Atlantic Ocean from where we live. I managed to get some shots of the Pyrenee mountains which seperate France from Spain. The landscape was beautiful. If you click on the photos you can see the mountain range quite clearly.

  2. Gorgeous goodies and photos!
We have a Great Pyrenee's dog! It is a guard dog and stays with the sheep and is supposed to keep the coyotes away....

I can't believe your beautiful weather! Our high today will be 54' F, which is so unusual. Normally we are covered in snow.. Not right now!

I love the sun and warmth...

  3. Lovely scenery shots, Jacqueline. In Florida, the landscape is flat, so I appreciate hilly views and mountains. In the second picture, it looks like a bus near the top right hand corner, maybe it is my tour bus, coming to enjoy your town!

    The cards are lovely, too.

  4. I can't believe your weather either! It's so COLD here in the UK. My, you certainly get around in your ministry!

Love the 2nd card - the background is so soft and subtle behind the lovely lady. A gorgeous card.

Thanks for the reminder to count your blessings - this was echoed in the sermon this morning!

  6. I really like your resist technique with the distress inks in your 2nd card. This one is particularly lovely.
(I tried this technique with snowflakes on my Sunday postcard art this week, thanks to you:)
Lovely scenery once again. I'm looking at the grayest day with rain/snow/slush!

  8. 2 totaal verschillende kaarten, maar beiden zijn echte juweeltjes.
Ook de foto's zijn om van te genieten, en zo'n prachtig weer, terwijl het in België aan de kust al de hele dag regent.

  9. Wonderful cards! I love the grids keep them coming. One of these days I might learn how to put them together as beautifully as you. :) The pictures of the mountainside are gorgeous. I clicked on the mountains and I felt like I was there. Glad you are experiencing such wonderful weather. We had a little snow storm today. Nothing is sticking too much on the ground.

  12. Wow, these cards are lovely. I appreciate new ideas for mosaic style cards. Thank you for the inspiration. Our weather here in Southern California is only 75 degrees F. but I'm so ready for cooler weather, it makes it easier to get in the holiday spirit. Have a wonderful day!
