Sharing

A masculine card for our 23rd Wedding Anniversary which is today. I used the batik technique but I probably didn't let it dry enough because it came out like this, but on the other hand it gives a different looking effect.

Taken this evening just before we shared a lovely meal, just the two of us.

This is a card I sent to my friend Sue (arrived so I can post it here) who is always so kind to send me her 'scraps' - well really I should call them her 'beautiful leftovers'. I so appreciate all the diecuts and pp's she sends me and much more!
The bird image is from Artistic Outpost, it is part of a stamp plate called Bluebird, found here.

Today is a beautiful day, the sun is shining and I'm still loving the man God brought into my life 23 years ago.

Blessings
Jacqueline

  18. Cher Jaqueline,
I live in a small Florida town of 22,000 some 30 miles NW of Tampa and Clearwater. Mail is slow coming and going from Holiday ... First it languishes in the small city post office for one day, then it goes to a larger post office in the adjacent town of Tarpon Springs where it is sorted and sent to Tampa airport, where, from what I hear, it puts in a day or more of hard labor before boarding aplane to some international airport ... You can't imagine know how much grief this presents for us, but nothing can be done: we're a small town by the water in a small state with no taxes so we depend on tourism to get money for nay social services, roads or such needs.
Perhaps it will come tomorrow ... I will certainly be sure to let you know and then post the picture at my Flickr.
By the way, cher Jaqueline, votre cartes sont tres, tres jolie!
