I don't want to neglect my blog for too long though, so I am posting a card I made a while ago and which is ready to be posted to a lovely Christian lady who lives in Chicago, and prays for me every day! Prayer knows no limits!
This is a little idea (found in a recent magazine) of how you can create an antique feeling, very cheaply too - don't throw away your old baking tins, let them rust and put some candles in them, nice in the garden or even in the home!
Have a wonderful weekend! DH is in Holland visiting our eldest son, but he doesn't have the beautiful weather we have here. The Mediterranean climate is just ideal, in all seasons!
Have a great weekend!
Absolutely beautiful Jacqueline, your cards continue to amaze me, such pretty colours. I hope you are feeling ok at the moment, sounds like you are relaxing which will be so good for you. God bless

ReplyDeleteJust such a beautiful card Jacqueline! You still amaze me at how you use that Hydrangea stamp! Hoping you are not too lonely without hubby! Take care! Hugs, Brenda .
ReplyDeleteShe will be thrilled with this gorgeous card! Love the rusty tins...but have a feeling my trying to "rust" them wouldn't have the same effect. It only happens when I don't want it to -- on things I don't want it to:)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
No, it really is cold here.
ReplyDeleteBut this is a beautiful card, love the colors...
You have made a soft romantic feminine card Jacqueline and anyone who views it will know immediately who made it, your genre is romanticism and you do it so very well.
ReplyDeleteSmiles:)
Such a beautiful card - love that you have stamped on patterned paper again. The blue is striking against the paper. Rest and relax and restore while you can! Prayers are with you.
