Sewing on paper

We have a free day today so I'm finding the time and space to visit some blogs and post something.

I have discovered how easy and lovely it is to sew on paper. Never really gave it much attention before, but for me it adds something. Typical really, because it's only because I got an extra chair so that I could sit behind the sewing machine that it happened..!

I have made so many that I have chosen a couple for the blog. Now I have discovered the Cuttlebug, stamping has taken a back place. I find it much easier to use and play with paper now and I'm enjoying that.

The first of May is celebrated by people giving little pots of Lillies of the Valley, called Muguets in France.

Happy May 1st!
Jacqueline

  2. I love the idea of the little pots of Lily of the Valley for May 1st. Spring has been so wishy-washy here that I thought mine would not be up in the garden, but I see that they are. Hopefully, I'll find some blooms for a little vase to bring inside. Your cards are very pretty and I think you've discovered the addictiveness(in a good way) of a die cutting machine! LOL!

  8. You bring a whole new benchmark to sewing on cards - absolutely stunning! I used to sew all the time, but usually messy borders and if I didn't have stitching on a card, it looked unfinished! Then all the stitched dies came out and I, like many people forgot their sewing machines. Maybe you'll bring the trend back, but if you do, not many will do it as beautifully as you:)
