This is a gorgeous background stamp, have always wanted it since I saw Godelieve use it white embossed on vellum on her blog here. On this card, I white embossed on music paper. I thought it would go well with the HA Hydrangea stamp and basic gray. Love these colors.
I picked out one of the butterflies from the pile.... as I said I would be making lots from scraps.
What is it about cutting out butterflies - I think the thought of using them on a card in the future is very motivating!
Look at your beautiful card and your butterfly garden with all those lovely butterflies is inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card. I run my handpainted papers in a scanner over music and calligraphy papers...but duh,,,,never thought of embossing over them. I will have to make a batch of them like you do your butterflies. Is this some of your new "flock"...they look really nice.
