Tag Tuesday - Mosaic

Definitely the most challenging challenge to date on the Tag Tuesday blog.
 

I don't even know whether I like this or not... but the sheer challenge of trying this technique just drove me.
I cut all the pieces out by hand. I had a template which I glued to the back of the stamped Peacock image and cut it out that way. Then I glued the pieces down and marked between the lines.

    I love your peacock background Jacqueline and the shades are beautiful! YOu have a lot of patience to cut all those pieces out like that! Was that done by hand or with a punch of some sort? It's beautiful! Not an easy challenge!

    Although this DOES look like something you wouldn't ordinarily do, I think you nailed the challenge with this mosaic. It looks like wall tile. And I know you are a wizard at cutting things out, but this is astounding!

    It took quite some time to create this but the result is gorgeous. It's a bit different as usual but just as gorgeous. Perfect cutting and the colors are beautiful. Perfect layering and it's something completely differentr to cut a stamped image.... :)

    What a creative shape you used, Lots of work cutting out all those little tiles too. Looks great!
    It was a hard challenge for me, I finished mine but haven't posted it yet.
