I have a little card share using some vintage paper that a sweet friend gave me while I was in Holland. It was so nice to be amongst family and friends again! The Hydrangea is Hero Arts and the little butterfly is from Eline Pellinkhof.
What I like about Holland is that it is about 10 years ahead of France in creativity! I mean, look at this Birthday cake that René's brother and sister-in-law surprised him with. So unique and creative. The photo is René when he was about seven years old. It is made of marsipan. The bakers are able to transfer photos onto cakes nowadays - how they do it, I don't know. He's better-looking today though :)
And a photo of Rodney with his dad (left) and an elder of the church, who baptized René as well when he was a young man of around twenty years of age. This was one of happiest moments in our lives.
Romans 6:4
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Beautiful card and your photos are just wonderful. Rene's cake is stunning... bet he was surprised to see it.
