Hello! Nice to be back home but I thoroughly enjoyed myself in Holland with my boys! Our son Rodney had a wonderful baptism service, together with five other young people. We were moved to tears when he read his testimony of how God had changed his darkness into light from the inside out! He was deep into sin and desolation but God saved him. It was also my DH's 50th birthday yesterday, so I have been lovely and busy.
I found some lovely cheap cardstock in Holland in the sales, just the colors I was looking for. I also had gems in my hands but didn't buy them. Now I am home, I think I must have had a blackout, not to have grabbed the chance while I had it!! So once again, no gems on my tag.
The image on the tag is from Crafty Individuals, haven't used this one in a while.
The label on the bottom of the tag is from The Graphics Fairy. The tag challenge can be found here, on Louise's blog.
Just wanted to add this picture which is actually quite contrary because who would of thought one would see sheep in a vineyard??? I NEVER see sheep other than in a magazine! Well it happened this afternoon.... at the same time you can see that we have beautiful weather.
Hope you are all well!!
It's a lovely tag, even without gems! Welcome home, Jacqueline!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home Jacqueline! Happy Birthday to hubby for yesterday! It sounds like you had a great time in Holland! Love your tag, especially with the addition of the little lace and other trimming!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful soft coloured tag.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful Tag Again!
ReplyDeleteSimply lovely...such a sweet tag! Diann
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you to read that your sons' baptism service has been so wonderful. And I also want to send you some belated birthday wishes for your husband :)
ReplyDeleteIf you still want those gems let me know; I can send them if you still want them :)
And your tag? Oh my...stunning. Out of this world beautiful. I'm a bit jealous of that lovely weather. I'm ready for spring but the weatherforecast told us there is a chance for snow thisupcoming weekend; argh!
I always love your tags, they are so amazing! I laughed about your not buying the gems, as I always do that - I get home from holidays etc and kick myself for not having bought various things! We don't have a great choice of craft items where I live, but I always have a panic attack about how much money I am spending whilst away - sigh :)
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous creation, Jacqueline!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy for your happiness about your son. It has to feel so wonderful for a parent to experience that.
It was lovely to read about Rodney's baptism and his testimony; how wonderful for him that his parents never lost faith that God would work a miracle in his life! God is so good!
ReplyDeleteI think your tag is gorgeous, with or without gems! It's another lovely vintage keepsake; perfectly your style!
bless you~
Hi Jacqueline - missed you. Lovely tag today! And loved reading about your time with family.
ReplyDeletebeautiful tag
ReplyDeletehugs Pia
How wonderful Jacqueline, I love to watch the sheep and cows! I hope that you are enjoying your beautiful weather!! We still have lots and lots of snow here and there is a cold weather watch in Toronto to protect the homeless. It's so hard for them as the often don't want to go into a shelter. :( I love your pretty tag, the lace and trim are so delicate! I'm glad that you had a safe return, nice to have you back! :) lavender & roses - Susanne
ReplyDeleteA lovely Tag Jacqueline. What a special trip you had. I had to laugh at the sheep pics, especially when you said you do not see sheep. Here in NZ sheep are all over the place and we take this for granted, you just made me think about this.
ReplyDeleteSmiles:)
Such a beautiful tag on tag! And I love seeing your sheep!
ReplyDeleteGlad all went well on your trip (except for the little gem mishap:) Love the layers on your tag and the background from GF is very striking!

ReplyDeleteHoi Jaqueline,
ReplyDeleteWat fijn dat jullie weer veilig terug zijn en dat je het goed hebt gehad in Holland.
Ik ben toch eigenlijk wel heel benieuwd waar je bent geweest, en ook wat je bedoelt met "gems"?
Mijn translator zegt edelstenen. Als ik iets voor je kan kopen en opsturen voor je misschien?
O en nog gefeliciteerd met je man hoor!
lieve groetjes,
Wilmi
Beautiful and serene.

ReplyDeleteGlad you have more special memories to treasure . . . eternal ones.
What I like of your photos are the line of trees against the pale blue sky. so peaceful.
What a Wonderful post Jacqueline, I am so happy to hear your son was Baptized and you DH's Birthday! Two special things to really celebrate!
ReplyDeleteYour tag is as lovely as ever.
The sheep made me smile, it brought back memories of when we lived on our ranch and the sheepherders would bring them down our road. often times on my way to work, I would be stuck in the middle with hundreds of sheep all about and had to wait for them to pass. I always ended up being late, To this day I don't know if my boss believed me! LOL
