Just a normal tag

NOT a tag with a surprise element (as was the theme on tag Tuesday this week) .... just won't come - but I wanted to make a tag, so a tag that I won't enter in this week's challenge it will be. Not that I haven't been thinking about it for a whole week.


I couldn't put wings on it. I thought of putting something underneath the post mark and turn it with a brad... but what????

Then I thought, I'm not going to post this because it's too empty, but adding something to it just didn't seem right.

Should I add something to the back of it - like a secret little envelope? I tried, but it was too small..... no luck this time - it has beaten me!

The frame is a Penny Black stamp.

    Jacqueline, it doesn't matter if you add a surprise or not, this tag is perfect the way it is! Love the soft delicate feel and beautiful colors!

    It is a real tough Challenge this time, but I agree with Barb the Tag is beautiful and we deserve to see it whether it meets the criteria or not!

    I think sometimes a project can just reach the point where it isn't meant to go any further - and it sounds like your tag hit that point ;)
    It is still lovely, I love the soft colours, so I would say it's time to love it just the way it is and don't worry about the lack of a 'surprise'!

    The surprise is this tag needs nothing else, it stands on its own...it is beautiful and so rich with the elements you have already added...it is Simply Precious...Love It...TFS Patti

    But it's beautiful - love how everything flows together here.....especially the pink flowers and the script background, those sweet little girls - perfect! I'd give you first prize, surprise or not!

    I also love the card as it is but you could say the yellow ribbon is the surprise when one could have been expected to use pink to match the pictures.

    I think it's gorgeous just the way it is. That nostalgic image with children on it and the beautiful image of the roses. This tag doesn't need anything more. It's filled with beauty already!

    I think this beautiful and charming just the way it is. I drive myself crazy overthinking some of my cards and then end up leaving as is only to find out later, I liked it better when I didn't add any more elements to it.
