Tuesday Trigger - Friendly flowers

What a beautiful Tuesday Trigger inspiration photo this week. Very inspiring don't you think? If you want to play along,  here is the link to the Moxie Fab World Blog.

So I knew which stamp I wanted to use, but it hasn't been delivered yet, but my mind wandered to this beautiful Hero Arts stamp called Floating Garden.

I colored direct to the stamp with distress markers, lightly sprayed with water and stamped.

Then I got another little idea. I stamped on an oval and adhered to a vellum diecut.

Then I got another idea and stamped on a circle and adhered to a doily. The little wooden bird comes from a lovely friend of mine, so happy to use it!

Thanks to Cath for another inspiring challenge!

Valentine's Card - French themed.

Today I wanted to share a Valentine's card - I never usually make them, only one for DH, but I have been seeing so many 'heart' cards everywhere that I just had to try one myself.

I used a doily and stamped and cut out some of the heart-stamps I have. Kept it French themed with the Bonjour sentiment from Hero Arts.

Happy Valentine's day!

Less is more - Kraft and Kreme

The challenge, which I love to give a go when I get inspired, is Kraft and Kreme today over on the challenge Blog, Less is More. The link can be found here. Happy second Anniversary too!

Very simply, adhered a doily to a Kraft base card, embossed a tulip on kreme patterned paper, cut out and adhered to the doily with dimensional tape after I had tied a little bow to the flower.

Have a lovely weekend!

Hero Arts Etched Flower stamp

Just popping in to say hello and to share a card I made using the a new 2013 Hero Arts stamp release called the Etched flower. I can think of a lot of different designs with this stamp, thats why I chose it.

I took a panel of cardstock and distressed with a sponge using vintage photo distress ink. Let it dry and then I stamped this cascade of flowers upside down with versamark and then white embossed. I used tape to heighten it after I had put the doily in place, on a cardstock base, behind the panel. The 'joy' sentiment is cut out from the sentiment 'find joy every day'. Added a couple of goldish gems and the card is finished.
Thanks for your visits!
