You brighten my days!

Every comment helped to brighten my days and help me feel connected this week - thank you all so much!
The nausea has eased somewhat although it's still playing a role and I feel tired, not feeling like doing much. Lost my appetite, so I eat what and when I can. It's so much like being pregnant! I was so glad with some advice I got about changing the medicine against nausea and although not 100 percent, it is better than what I had. If anybody has any input about what to do to increase the white blood cells or just against tiredness, I would be grateful!
I have to avoid the hottest part of the day, not to walk or lay in the sun, wearing long sleeves etc. What I can do is be outside, of course in the shade, but after five I can do some exercise in the swimming pool, wearing a hat of course.

Wish I felt more inspirational with card-making. Thanks to Brenda who sent me some Graphics 45 tags which I used on this card. I am so happy to have this outlet of crafting therapy. Thank you Judy, I used the K&Co pp pad you send for the background panel (LOVE the Burt's Bees Milk & Butter soap too!). The dimensional panel is from the Graphics Fairy. Stamped Butterfly is HA.

Hope you are all fine! Have a lovely Sunday.

  2. What a beautiful card, Jacqueline; your spirit shines through! My advice is to take as many little catnaps as you need. Praying that this new medicine will do the trick...

  9. Happy to hear the nausea is easing a bit. It is so good to hear you compare it to morning sickness - since both of these often difficult times in life (chemo and pregnancy) lead to a joyous time at the end. It is one difficult and temporary step in being cancer-free. I think that's a wonderful outlook. Beautiful card, thanks for continuing to craft with us. :)

  10. Beautiful card, Jacquline. So soft and feminine and I also love the card in your previous post.

Glad to hear you're feeling a little better. I think if you're tired then you need to listen to your body and rest, maybe sleep too if you can.

    Sending you my best wishes.

  11. Fijn om te lezen dat je je iets minder ziek voelt. Ik heb geen tips voor je. Alleen dan dat je niet meer moet doen dan waar je energie voor hebt. Veel sterkte, denk aan je!

  13. So glad you are feeling better a little bit anyway, Jacqueline. At least the weather is warming up so you can get outside later in the day for a swim...that will help you feel more alive. Love your card and glad even if for a short time, crafting helps. Blessings my friend.

  15. Fijn dat je weer wat beter voelt. Kleine porties eten wil nog wel eens helpen en goed naar je lichaam luisteren. Je kaart is zoals altijd mooi met prachtige kleuren. Ik denk en bid voor je.

  18. A friend of mine used Echinacea tincture to up her white blood count during chemo. Her doctors were really surprised how well it worked. Recommend Specialist Herbal Supplies here in the UK who sell a particularly strong tincture. I use it myself as an Autumn tonic to prevent colds. Hope this helps. I do enjoy your style of stamping and hope you will soon be feeling better.
