I have been into creativity a lot lately, but not only cards. I haven't posted any of the things I have been making with paper, only now and again on Pinterest, so I'm going to share in the form of sending somebody some 'happy mail'. You know we all like to see an envelope in the mailbox that's different, that's addressed to us and it just kind of makes a day extra special! I am not saying that it will blow you away, I just want to do a little share.
So, if you are interested, just leave a comment and I will send some 'snail mail' to the person chosen.
I am in the process of making a series of cards with these bird-prints. I love these prints so much! Right up my street and they mix and match with nearly every form of patterned paper. (Hint: One of these botanical bird prints will be in the snail mail). The Bible verses on the cards are in French, from Isaiah 41:10, one of the verses that have spoken to me in my situations that have been difficult in life. God is faithful.
This is the second one.
In the times I change up the creativity pattern, I am crocheting. Here are 'some' of the things I have made, including the headband which my grand-daughter is wearing.
I have also nearly finished two big double-bed blankets and just yesterday gave a baby-blanket away as a present for a new-born but forgot to take a photo.
My fourth grandchild will arrive in October and another baby blanket will be added to my work-load! But I'm not complaining, I love it.
Have a blessed day!!
Jacqueline
Love those bird prints on the cards and i figured you've been crocheting since i see all those cute patterns you've posted on pinterest - have a wonderful week and a blessed Easter, my friend.
ReplyDeletelovely bird cards and I am admiring your crocheting skills. Four grandchildren, blessings to you and them. Enjoy. the world is becoming a scary place to be in.
ReplyDeleteYour bird print cards are just lovely, Jacqueline! You are right; they would go with most patterned paper that you have. Your granddaughter looks so cute in the crocheted headband! Easter Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteLovely work, Jacqueline. Not only are your cards beautiful, but so is your crochet. I, too, crochet but not as much as you. Recently, a couple of vests for me and a winter's cap for my husband. I used to knit, but my arthritis in my hand hurts more when knitting, so I'm trying to be creative and use my yarn for crochet. I think my daughter and daughter-in-law will be receiving some scarves or poncho like creations from me this year. There are some really stylish and beautiful patterns out there!
ReplyDeleteI have followed your blog and have been admiring your creativity and love of God and family for a number of years. I always look forward to your posts to see the beautiful things you have made and the updates of your precious family. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards and lovely crochet projects Jacqueline! Thanks for the sharing the photos. You have a blessed day as well!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards and crocheted items.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the news of another grandchild. Aren't they just wonderful!
I had seen a map of the where the latest attack in France occurred and wondered if it might have been close to you. So sad to hear of these people doing these acts thinking they are going to be 'rewarded' for it. I pray that they will find peace with the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.
Both of your cards are just gorgeous, the bird prints look so neat and go lovely with your papers. Love your crochet projects, looks like you have been very busy, beautiful creations and Congrats on your soon to be new grandbaby
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Jacqueline. Congrats on your upcoming grandchild. They are such joy in our lives. Beautiful crocheting. And what an adorable little lady.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous cards Jacqueline - I do love how you use so many birds on your cards. Love your crocheting too - I have not done much for a long time now, but i am back doing needlework at the moment. How exciting to have a new grand-baby on the way - I too am awaiting the birth of a fourth grandchild in September, and I have a shawl to finish knitting for this wee one...
